My withdraw button is still there too. I think it depends upon the program and the date we submitted out application.
What's your program?
My intended program is Electrical Engineering Master and I submitted my application on 6th December 2018.

Just curious why Electrical Department has not started interviewing. Didn't heard about any Electrical Engineering applicant getting an invitation for interview.

Well, hello WLin! I am surprised to find another receiver of the ESOP interview here! On the same date and for the same major. I choose Geophysics. May I know yours?
You also an interview for ESOP?

My GRE Scores are Verbal: 152 Quant: 164 AW: 3.5. Am I in the safe zone or these scores are a bit low?

Yes I had my interview on the 22nd. I applied to the Earth Science MS. Also, do you know if they send out acceptance letters separately (for master and ESOP) or do they send together at mid March? I saw people in the forum saying they got master acceptance but haven't heard about ESOP in the threads in previous years.
Great to know that you got an invitation for interview.
Can you share your academic profile? like publications, work experience? -

Hello Guys,
Hope you all are doing great.
I have done Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I got in MSPE Masters Program at Technical University of Munich and also got an offer for direct 4-year PhD at University of New South Wales, Australia (Tution fee waived + stipend). Both options are good that has left me bewildered. One thing regarding UNSW that is bugging me is that its a direct-PhD after bachelors so will affect my career? like what is a general perception of direct-PhDs around the world? do industries and universities world-wide accept direct-PhDs for postdocs and in industries?. Also, what is the scope of Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) in Australia for research. Germany has a huge potential in this field (there are many semi-conductor manufacturing companies there + industries).
So what do you guys suggest?
