Do you know if its through email or via phone?

Reached out to the Graduate Coordinator last week and they told me that they were trying to notify students in three to four weeks (so two to three weeks now). But I'm taking that as an implied rejection since folks were already waitlisted (meaning they know who they accepted already?)

Wow, Congrats!! Hopefully the rest of us hear something soon too. So the agony of the waiting game can end.

Anyone gonna claim that Yale acceptance via phone?

Haven't heard anything yet! Interviewed with them two weeks ago and said I would hear back in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we hear something by Friday? And I totally feel you. I'm currently working on undergraduate thesis and the anxiety is such an impediment to the workflow! Sending ~ positive vibes ~ your way.

I reached out to the Administrative Director and he told me that he will hear from the graduate school this upcoming week, hopefully by Monday the 25th! So maybe there is some funny business going on? (but if not, congrats to those accepted!!)

I applied to GW's American Studies program. Haven't heard anything yet, not sure what this means about my application!

Hi! So I actually had a rather interesting experience and am curious as to how other peoples' interviews went. It started an hour and a half later than I expected it to start (which wasn't a fun wait) and it lasted approximately 7 minutes long. The Director of Graduate Studies and two other senior faculty members were present during the interview. They asked me two questions: briefly explain my research interests and besides a professor I had previously worked with, who else would I want to work with. They gave me the chance to ask one question to them. And that was it! So, it was swift and don't really think accomplished that much overall. But like I said, curious as to how others did!

Hi @rx971 I received this email about interviews. The text of the email was very vague / did not imply any sort of short list or how standard this process was. They asked me to block off an hour of time this coming Friday. I'll definitely keep y'all updated.

Hey! Recently rejected from USC, but also applied to Yale, Harvard, UT Austin, UMich, Brown, George Washington, NYU, U of Hawaii Manoa, and UC San Diego (Ethnic Studies)! Haven't received anything back yet from anywhere else.
