Congrats to the Harvard admit!! Excited for you!

Is there any chance some of us have not heard from Columbia because we selected the option of 'Masters Program' consideration if we don't get into PhD and so the application is being considered there before they let us know?

Great thread! My research interests were born out of my philosophy thesis. Although I still need some guidance in the specific direction, I'd say I am really excited by the idea of comparative institutional norms especially as it relates with development and economic growth. Also fascinated by the relationship between social norms themselves and institutions (especially public). So this may take place in the form of how outdated laws may still remain the norm and continue to oppress groups, etc Hoping the excitement of it all sees me through my PhD!

I am secretly enjoying this entire process by daydreaming just a little. (AKA assuming the best) I find that its more calming option. Don't know if it will help those facing anxiety-- wishing you the best
