Anyone else hear anything from NYU? I saw an interview on the board but nothing else. Are they interviewing all short list applicants?

Not too much info yet other than the fact that I was awarded a funding package and will receive further details later this week via phone. It seems like they're notifying funding recipients first, though I'm still surprised I heard something back so soon. Best of luck to you both!
Just got my acceptance! No funding though, so congrats on that!

Anglo-Saxonist here! I am particularly interested in pagan and Christian dissonance in Old English literature and Anglo-Saxon sexuality. I am currently working on the issue of gender in Beowulf.
Old English always seems to be the odd man out in terms of research interests, so I'm hoping the small quantity of interested researchers doesn't hurt my odds for admission too much!
