I don't understand why it's taking so long. It is now 2 pm there

I didn't apply for any set program, I chose Wolof classes at the Baobab center, and then I secured two internships as well as designed a research project. I took a pretty independent route since I actually lived in Dakar for a year and a half. Didn't want to limit myself to a university's program. And you? What did you apply to?

I did, applied for a general scholarship to study Wolof.

My budget email included this message "This process does not in any way guarantee that you will be a Boren awardee. We want to be very clear that not all applicants receiving this message will be awarded." I was under the impression it was sent to everyone. Did yours say this? Also, thank you to both for your responses!

I'm wondering if only flagship programs get two budget emails. I'm anxious about the fact that I haven't gotten one. I am a general scholarship applicant, no flagship program.

So just to be clear , no general applicant to either scholarship or fellowship has received a second budget email? I wonder why it’s like that this year if that is the case. Also today for the decisions!?!?

General applicant to Senegal scholarship, have not received a second budget email. Wow potentially by the end of this week? Ohhh the anxiety ???

I think april 15th as well. Still no news on receiving second budget emails for general scholarship and fellowship applicants? Anybody get one?

I didn’t make changes to my budget and then logged in two more times before the March 24th deadline just to read my application again. the option to make changes was still there so I updated it those two additional times, cause I was worried that logging in undid my previous selection. Logging in today, it is no longer there.

I am wondering if different groups of applicants are getting emails at different times. So perhaps Flagship programs get their emails at a different time than general scholarship and fellowship. I'm not sure because this thread is so small, so we don't have a lot of information.

Parisetsenegal, you are applying for an AFLI program, correct? Did any scholarship or fellowship general applicants (not AFLI/IFLI or other programs) receive a second budget email yet?
