I'll be starting at MGH Institute of Health Professions this fall. They offer 7 concentrations (including voice disorders). Each of the concentrations has its own specialized electives and dedicated practicum. I only applied to a few programs, but maybe others can share if there are similar options at other schools.

Can we pay the deposit money online or is it through mail?
It's online, there should be a link to the deposit form in your acceptance email

Anyone receive anything yet?
Just came to ask the same question!!
And am I the only one who is feeling a little dismayed by the overall lack of communication from Northeastern?
I liked my campus visit and the faculty at my interview, but compared to other schools I've been accepted to, I've gotten hardly any communication from them throughout this whole process. -

That said, I recently received an admission offer along with a generous scholarship for one of my grad school choices. Now I wanted to know if it would be possible to negotiate or discuss with other programs about funding opportunities. Not that I am ungrateful about being accepted to other programs but I would like to give myself a good chance to carefully select a school I feel would suit me while not having to go into large debt.
I'm in the same boat! The program I'm considering has an open house coming up and they said they'll be discussing finances there. So I plan to gather my questions and save them up for that event, since I'm sure many other new admits will have similar questions. All the emails I've received from financial aid and the admissions office have had a similar tone of "reach out if you have any questions" so I think it's appropriate to be transparent and let them know what you're thinking about. That's my plan anyways! -
Are others still waiting to hear back? I think I'll follow up today or tomorrow if I don't hear anything soon.
I held off last week because I think they were on spring break... -

Awesome - thanks! Did you get the schedule on there? Nothing’s attached to the email.
Yes, the schedule is in the body of the email at the bottom. It's has some interesting formatting...

I just got an interview offer today... Does that mean I'm lower on the priority list? Kind of annoying to receive it so late since I already sent my interview preferences to BU and Emerson...
DEFER DEFER DEFER!

I can only speak for what's going on in my program (MGH IHP) but I've heard that other programs are similar...
I'm a current 1st year CSD student at the MGH IHP and I'm dropping a quick note (before the chaos of finals weeks begins) to recommend that you DEFER your admissions offer. As you all know these are challenging and chaotic times with many looming questions and very few answers. But I want to share my personal experience so that you know what might be on the horizon for you if you start at MGH IHP this fall...
Obviously the entire incoming cohort can't defer, and I'm not expecting everyone to want to, but given what is going on if you are on the fence about starting I recommend you consider deferring! Online learning is not for everyone, and grad school already comes with incredibly taxing emotional and financial burdens. If you were most excited about the clinical practicum placements WAIT! Wait until you know they will be available, because no program can guarantee face-to-face practicum placements right now.
