Thanks! Yeah, it's quite encouraging cause I was really losing my hope.... I am more curious to hear that they usually do an interview with "all candidates"... Just I hope this isn't a bad sign for me though. It's really hard to know this mystery of the admission process!! Good luck with you, too!

I just got an email from UVA saying I am wait-listed! I was so surprised and glad! I was not accepted from anywhere yet, so... good news. Because I didn't get their interview, I thought I was rejected. I am kind of curious about how it works cause some people got the decision after the interview, but someone like me was wait-listed (or admitted? I am not sure about it though) without interview.. I am also wondering whether this will affect the final decisions.

Ahhh... I am sorry to hear that and thank you for informing us. Even I am still waiting for their (hopefully positive) decision, I decided not to expect too much because it is too painful to receive bad news, I mean, repeatedly. And same here, this process is really getting me lost my confidence.

Haha, I know exactly what you are saying! Yeah, if I will get an acceptance letter finally, it would be "relief" rather than extreme joy.... AND we really need it!!!

I am with you too. I am so sorry to hear your all suffering.. I cannot imagine all difficulties that you're in, but as a person who is going through multiple difficulties in my life as a whole, as well (sorry, these are not something that I wanna share here though), I can understand parts of what you described. I deeply feel you. Please, and let's, hang in there.

Hi, friend... I'm also waiting for USSD and UVA and didn't receive any of them yet.. Personally, I'm curious if USSD actually sent out all of their decision letters (including rejection), cause there was only ONE rejection posting in result page... and it doesn't seem to make sense to me. Of course, well, it would be still possible only one of them posted there. I feel you. Getting used to being rejected is so sad..

Agree. Just let's be respectful and thoughtful for everyone-- those who are not admitted yet and having to go through all the process, too. Yeah, congrats for the admitted, however, there are for sure more people who are dealing with rejections, as well. Why is this "offensive?" This person(@uteley24) just asked people to be more thoughtful about others who are not in the same situation. I cannot see any problem.

Hey, I am on the wait-list at University of Toronto... I will say it is *one only* good thing happening to me recenlty... but I’ve heard that getting admission for non-Canadian international applicants (yes, I’m, although I am in a doctoral program in the U.S now, and non-American) is extremely difficult, so I’m not expecting much... (maybe they have separate slots?) but really wanted to get accepted!!! Anyone knows about those who got accepted from the wait-list at U of T and who international applicants?

Hi, I'm currently a doctoral student and applying for other doctoral programs for "fit" reason. Does anyone know if it is a disadvantage that I am already in a doctoral program? I've heard such things... so that makes me so nervous because I didn't receive good news yet.
