Where did everyone end up committing?

I'm leaning towards Duke. They offered me 34k per year and I have a 6k AmeriCorps award so it makes it pretty reasonable. Paying full tuition and cost of living in Santa Barbara kinda scared me away. I also received admission to UC Irvine, but also no funding.

Yeah I saw that in the email they sent out as well, I suppose we didn't receive funding which really sucks.

I'm still waiting on Bren funding. Funny because they just sent an email reminding us to RSVP for admitted students day, but they haven't sent us funding info.

Got my info about at hour ago, they're giving me 34k for each year. I was hoping for an assistantship , but it's okay. I'm still waiting to hear back from Bren on financial aid.

Still waiting on aid notification from Duke when did you guys get yours? I know I have about a 7k scholarship for being an AmeriCorps member but I'm curious to see what else they'll give me...

When did you submit your application for Bren? Try checking your status page, they may have updated it without sending you an email.

Recieved an acceptance from Bren yesterday, no financial aid info yet...

From what I heard the Duke is better for connections in DC, I know UC Santa Barbara is in the top four, but it seems most of the graduates find jobs on the West Coast. I'm looking to focus on Water Resources Management so I'm not very concerned which coast I work on graduation.

Has anyone else applied to the Bren school at UC Santa Barbara? That's my second choice.

Wow 30k a year is almost the whole tuition....

I received my acceptance yesterday from Nicholas, but no financial aid info yet either. Waiting on Bren, Boulder and Irvine.
