Hey everybody! I just would like to check some of my statuses and see where people are. I have heard hardly anything from anyone and have not received a final admissions decision from anyone yet. I currently attend the Herron School of Art at Indiana University and will graduate in May. I applied to Columbia College Chicago - interviewed 2/19 University of Missouri - interviewed 2/25 University of Kentucky - SVA - CalArts - Louisiana State University - University of South Florida - Ohio State University - That's it. I haven't heard anything from anyone else. No acceptances or rejections yet. You all have such fast progress and I'm getting nervous!

I apllied to their photo program. No word yet.
-
I applied to their photography program- hope you mean just for design ???
-
I did, but I applied in photography! I haven’t been emailed yet but my last letter of recommendation wasn’t posted till a couple weeks ago.

I honestly think I probably mentioned in my essay that I want to teach!!! I said it like 3 times before they even asked haha. I think that may have prompted them to ask. Don't worry! Not to be creepy but I looked at your website and your stuff is solid!!!
-
How was your interview?! I honestly can't tell how mine went! Seemed good but it was short.
-
I applied for the MFA Photography program. They kept it pretty short and sweet but I tried to tell myself it's just because they have to go through a list and get moving. But they asked the major questions. Why grad school? Why Columbia? What's your work about? Would you be interested in a TA/Museum position and why? Do you have any questions? etc

Well, had my interview with Columbia this afternoon. It only lasted 10 minutes but they ask the pretty basic questions. I'm so nervous!

Hey everyone! I am currently still working for my BFA in Photography @ Herron School of Art. I'll be graduating in May but I am honestly really eager to keep working so I am trying to not take any time off despite lots of advice not to. I really think I can do it! (I want to!) I've applied to - Columbia College Chicago - Ohio State University - SVA - University of Kentucky - University of Missouri/Mizzou - CalArts - Louisiana State University - University of Southern Florida Columbia is my top pick and I have an interview with them soon. I also have a tentative interview with Mizzou. Any advice? I am kind of not very self aware and don't have a lot of confidence most of the time. I love feedback and I love help. My website is savannah-calhoun.com

I honestly am not very confident. I have applied to - Ohio State - SVA in New York City - University of Kentucky - Louisiana State University -University of Missouri - Columbia College Chicago - University of Southern Florida - CalArts and Columbia is interviewing me soon. That is my top pick. I met a faculty member at a conference and she reviewed my portfolio. In the email she said they are "impressed" with my portfolio. Does any of this mean anything at all? I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm so nervous for my interview. Also- I'm in my senior year of BFA. I wanted to go straight in. Do they frown on this?
