I am writing from turkey and I haven't heard from any of the schools I have applied.these are:NYU,BU,Brown,Nothwestern,Purdue,UT Austin,Columbia,Yale departments are mostly sociology but 3 are Middle East. Is it because I am an international student and applying from Turkey?
