is there a special way one needs to follow when mailing daad in the portal . I have emailed them twice and they do not reply ?

I have written to DAAD via the portal twice and both time they have not responded to me. DAAD operates in very strange ways.

I have mailed them through the portal asking when I will get the final results but they have not responded. I usually do not get responses when I mail via the portal, it is them same for the rest ?

Hello guys, Today I have mailed DAAD and they informed me that my status is selection made because I am on the reserve list. My take is : they inform the ones who got the scholarships and the remaining ones are on the reserve, so I guess the longer it takes the less likely one is to get the grant. My hope is getting less and less as I have had the selection made status for like for ever now.

thanks guys, i too can log in. just that my status has been selection made since beginning of February without any updates. more than a month now!! so am kind of tired with the obsessive checking of the portal.

my end date was changed as well, but not information as to why they changed the dates. I find this date changing abit strange. I mailed them in February asking when they will inform me of the decision but the wrote back saying be patient. I am applying from Tanzania for one year research grant. Is the language course mandatory ?

Hello , does anyone know why they change the funding date ? they changed mine from 01.06.2019 to 01.10.2019. Plus they did not notify me, I just found by checking on the portal ?

I applied for one year grant but daad also but themselves added me to short term grant, and they then rejected the short term grant. but my application for one year grant remains the pending. hope you this makes it clear. and yes when they sent me the rejection notification for the short term grant the status was still selection made.

I applied for the one year research grant and daad also put me up for the short term grant and then rejected me for the short term grant. this really confused me as i thought they rejected me for what i applied for!!! My status for the one year grant remains selection made and they changed my dates to 1.10.2019. what an emotional roller coaster. Already losing weight over this!! ahahaha!

how comes all three options end in rejection ? can one get funding and then get rejected ?
