I was able to do the interview in person. I was asked briefly about several of my pieces (primarily questions related to my process), but to be honest it felt a little like they were more trying to sell me the program than anything else. Very conversational interview. Was myself, the director of the program, and a current student. The tour itself was fine. I wasn't swept away by the facilities, the studios were a bit small and were only semi private. Additionally it seemed many students commuted to campus by car, and the campus itself was relatively isolated from the surrounding towns. Thanks for the congrats! Although the program wasn't a good fit for me it's undeniably a strong program. I'm most likely going to end up at PAFA, primarily for funding related reasons.

I interviewed with them several weeks ago, and got a call from the director of the program the following day offering admission and some scholarship. I ultimately decided to decline the offer, but prior to that I was told that they had a first choice list of candidates they were calling immediately, and depending on responses they would then move on to the second list of candidates they were considering.
