Sure! I mentioned my education (BSW) and the work I have done since graduating. I am a family/disaster case manager but have worked in several different counties in my state due to the damage on homes caused by natural disasters, and also worked with those areas local officials, plus some cases required communication with a few state officials. I also mentioned my other work within my agency, the programs I lead, and how I organized our food pantry during covid times. I also mentioned any trainings I have completed. 3 recs: all from people that I have worked with, 1 in my agency and 2 with different organizations. I did not focus on my education as much because I graduated a few years ago and wanted to explain the work I have done since then. Hope this helps!

Hi all! Just wanted to say that I received my letter of acceptance today a bit after noon. I am still shocked but also over the moon! My fingers are crossed for you guys!!

I attended the meeting this week and they mentioned 600 people have applied so far. Looks like we have a bit more waiting to do!

I’m waiting too and it’s killing me lol I just received an email from the Student Aid office saying my FAFSA was received but that’s it. Have you attended one of the sessions? I was wondering if they mentioned when people should be hearing back during these meetings...? Good luck to us both!!?
