There is maybe still hope for today...when I logged in to my Extranet, it showed that they announced my Vanier results at 3:27pm on May 1st (results supposed to be posted in April lol). The wait is absolute torture and I am not getting any work done either!

I just wanted to let folks know that it is possible to move up in the competition! In my first application last year, I was ranked 79th. This year I received the award and I was ranked 25th, which is a pretty big jump. So for folks who have the opportunity to apply again, don't lose hope!

I've heard back from Guelph - didn't get it but will try again next year. The award officers will email your department grad coordinator and they should email you.
