Hi all! I've been lurking on here for a while and taking in all of the wonderful advice. I'm just now beginning the process of looking into programs, deciding on post-bacc/leveling options (out-of-field applicant), and putting all of the puzzle pieces together. I just applied for USU's post-bacc program. I'm mainly concerned about the letters of recommendation aspect. I graduated undergrad in 2017 with a degree in Sociology, so I feel that LOR from my professors in the soc department would not be as impressive. I currently work in Early Childhood Intervention and luckily work side by side with SLPs daily, so I think I have my bases covered there. Has anyone had luck with receiving LOR from USU professors through the online program? Also, if anyone has any advice or recommendations for making an out-of-field application stand out, I would gladly appreciate it! Looking forward to getting to know more of you as I continue this crazy process!
