I will be applying this year for HBSW - Lakehead (both campuses). How competitiive is this program? I have a 3.0 gpa and placement experience. Right now I work in health care as a receptionist because it pays the bills. I was recommended this program to help out with my msw application. Since a year has gone by does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello everyone, I have been out of school for 3 years, I graduated from the UofGH in Family and Community Social Services and have a 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) gpa. I never intended on doing my masters degree which is why grade are low. Little did I know it's very difficult to get a a stable job in Toronto without a masters. In the 3 years out of school I worked at a receptionist in a Hospital and taught English abroad. What are some suggestions for programs and is it realistic for me to get accepted? *P.S. Eventually I would like to become an art therapist, but I would like to get a masters in social work or counselling
