  1. I'm going to WashU and have decided to do the fall semester online. hopefully it can be in person eventually! but I dont think this will clear up completely in the next 2 years and I'm not willing to wait. I will live with my family during the fall so it will be great to save money.
  2. washu just announced that we can choose between an online only track for fall or a hybrid option. those of you going to washu, what do you think you'll do? I'm leaning towards online but don't want to miss out if most people hybrid.
  3. why do your friends at umich regret it?
  4. yes! very excited and it still feels surreal
  5. I think I'll be at WashU since they gave me the best aid
  6. Officially got into all 5 of my schools!!
  7. go where you get $$ - programs will be comparable. also consider cost of living.
  8. I got into a special program and a dean's scholarship but because I am out of state it still does not beat my offer from WashU or even UChicago - makes me sad cause I was really pumped about the special program
  9. anyone else got their official aid letter from Michigan? i received two updates from financial aid (with scholarship offer) after I called but just now got an official letter that which included loan and work study.
  10. yes should have come with your acceptance
  11. enroll by date is also 3/30 for me as well which is earlier than other schools and I know about aid from them.
  12. anyone heard back from UMich about fin aid and scholarships? They're the only one of my top choices that I'm waiting to hear from...
  13. oh that's very good to know! wow i feel really lucky. i know i've worked hard over the years but i know they get so many qualified candidates that also deserve that level of financial support. thank you, i appreciate the kudos.
  14. Thanks for the tip! Did you get a scholarship? Trying to get a sense if I received a good amount or not..
  15. I did! $31k...but it looks like it's only for the first three terms...?? I was a bit confused by the wording. I am less interested in macro and I think that is a strength of the program. I have a better offer at WashU and cost of living is expensive in Chicago so I don't think I'll end up going there... Did you?
  16. I heard like 1/6 and have no financial aid info so I think it'll be a while.
  17. yes i did - it's my home state. no idea about aid but once you start you can get assistantships that can be quite helpful
  18. anyone heard back about UMich financial aid?
  19. wow congrats!! that's amazing. when did you apply?
