Describe Relevant Work Experience: 5 months RAship with a well-known DevEcon organization + 18 months qualitative field research with a well-known US university + have been working with a multilateral for the last 5 months as a Sr. RA. Consistent thematic area across all 3 projects, more or less (which I highlighted in SoP)

Other: Though I've not yet received an admit from a STEM program, would like to know the experience of international students (or those who know int'l students to make the same decision) on pros and cons of opting for a non-STEM better-ranked school v/s not so well-known STEM degree. I intend to work in the States for a couple of years before returning to my home country. Also open to the possibility of a PhD in public policy but haven't yet decidedHi!! Congrats on your acceptances! When did you apply to Fletcher and SIPA and when did you hear back?

Thanks for starting this thread! Also waiting on Fletcher, it is one of my top choices, so I'm curious about this too! Will make the trip to visit if I am admitted!

Hey guys, anyone on here has some tips for the SAIS Europe interview or know what its going to be like? Thank you!

Hi guys, just continuing this thread for those that applied later since this is the only thread I found for SIPA. Congrats to the early applicants who have already been accepted!

So I just got an email with the subject line “an update from the fletcher school” from Dan Birdsall at admissions. It was personalized (addressed to me by name with things he enjoyed reading about in my application). Did anyone else get this/know if there’s a history of these being sent out and what it could mean? Probably just a courtesy thing to applicants while we wait, but I’m curious! Thanks!
I also got the same email.. I don't know what it means either, hoped to find out by researching through the previous years' forums but didn't really get an answer. Just that some people get it and some don't. I hope someone knows and lets us know..

I applied to the MAIA in Bologna and some days ago I got an emailing asking me to let them know my preference regarding the interview (skype/phone/in person). It did not show the options for interview dates but when I emailed and asked them, they told me that they will come back with some options for me to choose. Still waiting but seems that the interview will be conducted in early Feb (for all applicants apply to Bologna campus).
Good luck everyone! Fingers crossed for me too :))
So helpful! I just emailed them asking the same thing, but a relief to hear about the interview options. I applied to the MA program though.
