[DAAD Scholarship 2020-2021]

Hi guys, 

I applied for the "Research Grants - One-Year Grants for Doctoral Candidates" and got a rejection letter today.

They said that they had to decide between 30 applications and were able to award 8 scholarships. 

I am truly sorry because I was really excited about this.. I hope it will turn out better for you guys.

Does anyone else get this?

That's just because you have applied for a funding and you are registered as an applicant. You can read about that on the information tab of insurance.

No, there is no date in the message. Maybe it depends on your contact person, if she/he will give specific dates? When was your deadline?

So I got an e-mail today saying that I have a message on the portal. My heart was racing while I was opening the message, but it was only an aknowledgment of my submission. It says that the decision will be made at the meeting in March and they will let us know within three weeks after the meeting.

Funny that it takes them three months for an aknowledgment, the deadline was in November...

Sorry I saw this post too late, I think it depends more on the country but I'm not sure.

I can access the portal with other browsers, it's a problem with Google Chrome, I guess.
