For those who applied to UofA's MPH Health Promo stream, I most likely will not be accepting the offer, as I will be going for another program within the university. Still hope to see you all on campus and hope to take some School of Public Health courses as electives!

Hello, I noticed that we don't have a forum about applying to Canadian MSN/MN (Nursing) programs. Anyone else who applied to MSN/MN for 2020 Fall intake and have heard back or is waiting to hear back? Thanks!

Just received my offer of admission from UofA MPH - Health Promotion (on campus) today ! Excited to be potential classmates with many of you. This is the only school I've applied to for MPH. I'm still waiting for another program to get back to me.

HP specialization. I believe it was changed on GSMS portal after the holidays, couldn't exactly remember. It says "application status: pre-screening", but when I expand the view under details, then it's "decision: pending"

Mine says "pre-screening" and decision: pending also.

Just submitted my application a couple weeks ago to UofA MPH - HP stream. I don't have a high GPA, but public health has been my passion and I'm very excited to apply for the program I currently volunteer at a lab that does research on childhood immunizations, and have done some work in Indigenous communities up north in community public health related to health advocacy, and initiating health promo programs/initiatives. I wonder how much importance schools place on grades. Wishing everyone all the best on their applications :)
