Does anyone have any insight about/ experience with/ could someone direct me to reviews for the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in NY? Thank you!
-
I graduated from Guelph June 2019 as well (with a BSc)! I also have similar experience, and I was a nanny in Italy this past fall!! Wild coincidence! Thank you so much!!
-
Congrats!!!! So happy for you If you don't mind, can I ask what your stats are like? Were you notified via email or egas? Also also, when you say "seems they're moving through the waitlist quickly"... have you heard of others being accepted off the waitlist already?? (Sorry for all the questions! Just anxiously waiting and hoping to also be accepted off the waitlist but there isn't much info out there on how many people are on the waitlist, the likelihood of getting accepted off the waitlist, if its ranked etc etc) !!

no it was for the on campus 2 year MSW!
-
Rejected from Laurier via email on April 9th! Also updated on LORIS
-
Exact same as you. Sounds like the Windsor waitlist is LONG! Good luck
-
Congrats!! Did you get accepted off the waitlist?
-
Also does anyone know how many applicants Windsor waitlists??
-
The email I received (I'm sure you got the same one haha) says they don't disclose that information... and I haven't seen it anywhere else so I'm not sure. But on forums from previous years there seems to be a lot of movement off of the waitlist so that's good news!! Congrats! and good luck!!

Just got waitlisted at Windsor!! Anyone else heard back about the 2 year program??
-
I also just applied to Yeshiva!! Would love to hear your thoughts about the program/ get your insight about what you've heard about it!
-
(As we heard a few pages back) Western accepted 20/300 applicants this year... do we know how many applicants Laurier typically has? I assume more than Western

Also looking for some advice. I have a BScH in health sciences with a lot of social science courses and quite a bit of relevant experience. I don't qualify for an accelerated BSW and I'm reluctant to go and do another 4 year undergrad degree. Work experience? post-degree certificate/ college program? Any advice from personal experience/ things they've heard/ seen on forums or anywhere is welcome!!

I emailed Windsor the other day and they said: "We are just finalizing application reviews and are hoping to have admission status sent out by the end of the month." !

Does anyone have any info about the MSW program at Yeshiva? program quality and focus? acceptance rate?

MPA/MPP/MPS Applications, Fall 2020 (Canada)

Wow, congrats! and thanks for this info!! I see on the program website that there are spots still open... do you know if this is because they haven't been able to accept 35-40 students because not enough "qualified" people have applied or is it because maybe people haven't accepted their offers yet? -

Does anyone have stats on how competitive Ryerson's MPPA program is?? i.e., competitive average/ amount of relevant experience, acceptance rate? -
aaand there's my rejection from Western via email!! 2/4 rejections... wondering why I even applied at all (:
-
Congrats, that's amazing!! Did you get an email or just updated on the portal??
-
So I'm getting super impatient with Windsor and I think I want to email admissions and ask when we should expect to hear back... Is there any harm in this?? Any advice on how to word the email professionally?
-
I applied to the same MSW programs and the wait is hard!! From what I've seen in past forums, Windsor sends out acceptances on a very long rolling basis... which means we could find out today or in 4 months from now or anywhere in between... not a fan!!!! Let us know if you hear anything! Good luck!!

Anyone else anxiously waiting to hear back from Western?? 2 years ago admissions sent out results starting on Feb 27th and last year it was the first week of March for both advanced standing and non-BSW!!!
-
Whew ok!!! Thank you so much
-
Hi! I know you posted this about a week ago... but now I'm getting curious! How did you hear back? Email, egas, mail?? I was asked to send in a more official transcript about a week ago and my egas has said "in process" since Feb 12th. Do we think this is good news? neutral news? Has anyone heard back from Windsor non-BSW??

Such is life! I also applied to Western, Laurier, and Windsor (non-BSW)!
