  2. I know people who got their rejections from Cornell already I wonder why they won't just notify everyone rejected at the same time, isnt their system automated anyway.
  3. Got my rejection from Harvard. Does anyone know if there's any hope in waiting for Cornell and GT?
  4. Does anyone have info on Harvard BE? Did they finish sending out acceptances? Do they accept only after interviews?
  5. Hi. I contacted Cornell on 11th, and was told that decisions are still being made and that they expect to be done by the end of this month. On the same day, Harvard told me that they are also still making decisions and that they expect to complete sending out decisions by 15th of March. GAtech I think already sent out all interview invites, so if one didn’t get any notifications, I think it’s rejection
  6. I still don't completely understand why schools won't just send their rejections already. It's such a torture...
  7. Hi! Congrats! No, unfortunately he hasn't mentioned anything like that, I assume because he's not a member of admissions committee this year.
  8. Does anyone know if Georgia Tech BME accepts any students without interviews? I reached out to POI, and was told that GT already sent out interview invites to applicants in US, and that official acceptance letters will go out in mid March. and regarding international applicants he said this: "If applying from overseas, likely few if any have received letters yet." So I was wondering if there are any international applicants here who had skype interview for GT BME?
  9. Thank you for the suggestion! Tried emailing her today, and finally received a reply! It didn't give me any closure though. the tale as old as time, that they are still working on decisions, and that i should be waiting until the end of this month. I highly doubt any programs would be sending out their decisions this late, so I am just giving up at this point.
  10. I haven't gotten any response to several of my emails, while interestingly some people do. My head just overthinks everything at this point, so I was here wondering if that's cause I am likely to be accepted/rejected.
  11. Are there any international applicants who are still waiting for updates from Cornell, GT, UIUC? Do we have any hope or is it time to finally give up ?
  12. Does anyone know if Harvard BE admits only by interview? If i haven't received any invitation for interview in january, I am most probably rejected?
  13. Hi. International here as well. Haven't heard back from 6/7 schools I applied to. This waiting game is hard..
  14. So I guess UPenn can be crossed out if I haven't received an invitation for interview by now?
  15. Those who applied to Cornell BME and did not receive any updates, what does your status on applyweb says? Mine has been at "In Progress" state ever since I submitted my application. I've also contacted the grad admissions office (Miss Floyd) by email a few times, but did not get any response so far.
  16. For those who have not received any decisions from Umich, this is the response I received from the admission committee regarding the status of my application: "Thank you for your email. The admissions committee has reviewed your application and no decision has been made. However, it is not likely that you will be admitted since we received a high number of outstanding applications and have limited openings. Final decisions will be made in late March. Let me know if you have any questions."
  17. Thanks for the insight! I truly hope they'll send out more interviews in the coming days. BTW, I noticed you also applied to Cornell? Did you hear anything from there? p/s my specialty is microfluidics/lab-on-a-chip
  18. So if I didn't get invitation for UPenn interview by now, it must be a rejection, huh?
  19. Any international who received Cornell's decision today? There are no internationals (with degree outside of US) so far in the results panel who received Cornell admission.
  20. Are there any other international applicants who did not receive any updates? I applied to UCLA, UIUC, UMich, UPenn, Georgia Tech, Cornell, Harvard.
  21. If the recruitment date for UCLA is 2/6-2/7, shouldn't they send out their decisions/interviews this/next week?
  22. Just noticed that some students were getting invitations on Saturday. I'm an international and haven't heard anything.
  23. This may sound dumb, but what exactly is the "recruitment" date for UCLA? Is it a period during which they'll be sending out their invitations for interview? Thanks!
