  1. Hi everyone! I committed to Temple and put down my deposit and everything, but I was taken off the waitlist at Houston two days after the deadline. Houston was my number one choice for a long time but I gave up on it after I got waitlisted. Now that I just got an acceptance, I'm not sure what to do. I have til April 27th to make a decision, and I can't tell what the best choice is, so if anyone has any insight about either of the school's strengths/weaknesses I would love to hear it!! I am out of state for both! From what I hear Temple has the ""better"" or more prestigious program and I think they have some amazing researchers (especially for apraxia and other less common disorders), but it is a semester longer and more expensive. I did get awarded a scholarship at Temple though. I've visited Houston, and I was impressed with their involvement with the community but the facilities were quite old and there seems to be fewer research opportunities. BUT it is cheaper to go to Houston. Both have options for a Master's thesis and a bilingual/multicultural emphasis. I would appreciate any information from past or current students, or people who know more about the programs! Thank you! ?
  2. Hope it's not to late to answer this for you, but I asked my professor about this since I was confused and she said they usually write a "general" letter of recommendation that is not directed at a specific school for CSDCAS since the letter that gets uploaded there gets sent to all the schools you apply to on CSDCAS!
