  1. Hi all! Someone just created a Facebook event for MIRHR Class of 2022 - you can find it here https://www.facebook.com/groups/MIRHR2022/
  2. Hi friends! How is everyone feeling about the fall? I saw the announcement regarding UofT looking at a hybrid model - hoping we hear a comment from CIRHR sometime in the next few weeks regarding how this impacts MIRHR!
  3. Congratulations to all of us!!! I just got into the 2 year program as well! So excited to meet you all in person in the fall
  4. Wahoo!! Glad to hear Hope it stays that way!! Stay safe out there!
  5. Hey @TenH - have you heard anything back yet? I'm wondering if I should send them an email to see if we should expect any delays. Cheers!
  6. Yeah I was thinking of you both on this as I'm sure administration units within universities are working remote/closing which may delay any response. I hope that Queens understands that there are delays happening everywhere and provides an extension for your 4 week deadline.
  7. My application is also still under review @SmallBean - it's funny because even though I know we would hear back via email I always check the admissions page ... because that's where I expect I would hear a no! Regardless, I think it's a good sign that we haven't heard back yet. I think the admissions process runs in stages, and they're probably still in the early stages.
  8. Congrats to you both!! Hoping we all hear from UofT soon so we can start making some decisions (I'm trying to determine whether I should register for summer courses for a post-degree diploma program I got into). Have either of you heard of anyone else getting into the MIRHR program yet? I'm so curious as to how many offers have gone out already - I wonder if they've just sent out a few here and there or if they've actually sent out quite a few by this point ?
  9. Same here @TenH and @SmallBean!! I'm sweating bullets and checking my email every two seconds! We'll get through this!!!
  10. Of course, do what you need to do in order to determine the right step for you! It is a big decision for sure with so many factors involved - I know that if I get in I'll have to make a lot of hard decisions upfront (moving my life from BC to Toronto sounds logistically messy). Maybe waiting for a reply isn't so bad now after all ? haha but for reals, if you ever want to talk send me a message! I am just a rando from the internet but in some ways we do have a lot in common too. Regardless - best of luck in your decision making!
  11. Yayay so awesome!! Go celebrate, and go kill it in Toronto this Fall!!
  12. Congrats @kchen!! You earned it! So happy to hear you got in ? Did you hear via phone, letter, or through the SGS Admissions page?
  13. Thanks @SmallBean for sharing your background! It sounds like you are in great shape to receive a few acceptances! Even if it was a lot of work applying to these schools, it will pay off when you get to choose which school you're most interested in attending! And yes here's hoping my grades will make the cut Hey @kchen - I was told by the admissions office in December that the admission committee starts meeting mid-January so I SCRAMBLED to get my references to submit their documents in time for mid-January. Once they had attached their documents in early January, my status changed to 'under review' and has been so since then. I think this is just the standard message that displays once all the documents have been attached, and the admissions office can track them as received. Unfortunately, I wouldn't take it as anything other than a notification stating they have received your full application. The admissions office told me to reach out to them if I haven't heard anything by end of April, so I recommend you do the same if this is the case with you! I've been searching similar forums from previous years and can't find any proof of acceptances prior to April ... but you never know! I'd say expect to hear back mid-late April, and if you hear back earlier then that's great!
