Hey just wondering if there is any international students out there waiting. I am an international student who studied BME in the US. I applied 15 school but I only got hear back from 2 schools. (rejected by UCB, and waitlisted by UCSD). I was wondering there is a different in the admission process between domestic student and international student?

UCB Ph.D Admission and Application Recruitment/Interview Visits The Program requires all finalists to attend a hosted visit to Berkeley/UCSF (international travelers excepted). For the Fall admissions cycle the visits will be February. The Program provides travel reimbursement, 2 nights of hotel accommodation and meals for this purpose. Information on the visits will be sent only to finalists in late January 2020.

For all the people that are stressed about the applications out there: We got this. I would like to share all the information that I gather. Please contributes if you have relevant informations! Harvard: skype interview, unknown recruitment date UCLA: recruitment date: 2/6-2/7 USC: skype interview UCSD: who knows UCB: Don’t know too much about this, rejected shit ton of applicants last year UW: Last year notified Jan19th Cornell: I don’t think they do interviews Yale: nothing yet MIT: interviews Upenn: Jan 24th 3.7-3.9 (last year’s post) Stanford: MID-MARCH Sent out the decision by April. UCI

To the posts above, I emailed them and they said "the review process is well underway." Has anyone get anything from the west coast? UCLA? UW? UCSD?
