  1. I haven't heard back from Columbia, uPenn, USC, and Northwestern. Should I just assume that I got rejected at this point? I'm contemplating just accepting one of my other offers already.
  2. I got rejected from the PhD program and offered an MS. The email was sent on feb13th. Maybe the fact that you have not been contacted could be a good sign.
  3. So given the recent Stanford acceptances, does no interview yet indicate 100% that I am rejected?
  4. From the email sent by Stanford BE Department on Jan27: "Admissions decisions are typically available by mid-March. However, we will try to release them earlier. "
  5. I have a question regarding Stanford Bioengineering admissions. I saw that a batch of people got interviews mid-January and I have not received anything from them yet. They also just sent an email just now stating that decisions typically come out mid-march. I'm wondering if they accept people without an interview? Or does that fact that I have not received an interview mean that I most likely didn't get in?
  6. Thanks for the advice! I actually will be exploring private tutoring to make some cash and stay busy. I also wish you the best during this time as well.
  7. I am currently waiting on decisions, but I expect to get at least one admission. I just finished undergrad in December and would be starting grad school next Fall which leaves about 8 months of time. I am actually feeling very lost and depressed and want to stay busy. I am unemployed and living with parents. Can you guys suggest any ways to fill this time gap (i.e. continuing research with undergrad lab, finding part time job, traveling, etc.)
