WashU just cancelled

Just received my rejection from McGill for their Sociology MA. Feeling pretty bummed as I had been in contact with two professors in the department who had encouraged me to apply oh well...

Anyone who has reported that they got contacted about interviews for CUNY - did you get contacted by a professor you had already been in contact with?

they have accepted 12 students with the hopes of a final cohort of 5-6

Congrats on your acceptance! They mentioned outright that they're releasing decisions in rounds?

I applied to the MA programs at McGill and University of Toronto. Unfortunately I have yet to hear from either despite several people reporting their acceptances. But trying to remain hopeful that maybe they're releasing them in rounds...

Do you mind me asking, are you a Canadian student? Or international?

did anyone else apply to the MA programs at toronto and mcgill and is still waiting to hear? i saw someone reported they were rejected over the phone which seems odd..

I know ? I haven't heard anything yet but am still holding out hope....

I also submitted in late December, but I have no idea if all acceptances were sent out when I received mine! Sorry I can't be of more help...
