  1. i know lol it is *verrrry* tight in terms of that deadline. im def going to have to make my decision at the very end!
  2. Ty! I applied early December. I didn't get any scholarship info--they said they'd send a separate link once you're admitted to complete an application for scholarships (but i haven't gotten that yet). The email indicated that awards would be communicated the week of April 6th.
  3. sure! 3.7x undergrad GPA, have been out of school ~5 years, i've worked in legal services/advocacy for DV survivors for the last 2+ years. first gen/multiligual. no GRE. non-NC resident. lmk if you wanna know anything else!
  4. just got my acceptance to the full-time, 2-year program!! it came in an email from Sharon and said that an acceptance email from the graduate school would be coming in the next few days. so seems like they are rolling them out! sending good vibes to everyone!
  5. thanks for the intel! this wait is real rough lol
  6. Yeah, i see what you're saying. i had submitted my fafsa fairly recently, so i was figuring that the SSW office still hadn't seen it yet. i'm in a similar situation, so if you end up getting clarity on it, please let me know!
  7. hi! i got the same offer and am still waiting on the special program scholarship determination as well. i'm a little confused too, but it seemed like we were going to get a separate email with loan eligibility etc based on the fafsa being processed? i interpreted this award as coming directly from the SSW based on what we had submitted on the financial aid portion of the app (but i wouldn't necessarily expect any more need-based from the fin aid office's email). re fafsa, i would hope the EFC would take into account that we are obviously not going to have our FT jobs/income once school starts...
  8. Has anyone heard from U. Mich about scholarship/aid yet?
  9. I applied before 12/10 as well and haven't heard back. From what I understood, the priority deadline was only a deadline for if you wanted to be considered for the Graduate School's scholarships (i.e. Weiss), not an indicator that we would find out from the SSW about admission any earlier. When I spoke to admissions a couple weeks ago, they'd said anytime from end of January through March, but that the bulk would probably be by mid-Feb. So I'm hoping soon!!
  10. Finally got my U.Mich acceptance email/letter after the call on 1/13! So for those still waiting, seems like they're rolling them out (just slowly). No word on financial aid yet. A bit frustrating that the 3/30 deposit date is earlier than the 4/15 date for other schools.
  11. i haven't gotten my official letter yet, so i might be misunderstanding the convo, but i wonder how that works with the april 15 resolution (https://cgsnet.org/april-15-resolution)?
