Hi, Based on the DAAD annual report, 166 PhD candidates from Iran received scholarship for personal funding in 2018!!! However, this year we preselected (70) out of 150 PhD candidates? I get confused,, what does that mean?? Could you talk with DAAD representative in Iran? Many thanks

I have applied for DAAD NaWam for waste management. My major is chemical engineering as well.

Thanks for your reply. However, a friend of mine said that 30 candidates will be chosen out of 70 applicants who were interviewed. Last year 49 individuals were received the scholarship out of 159.
