Lol I hear you, but you still have 3 more schools to hear back from ! Don't give up hope ! I hope BU sends out decisions this week, I'm waiting to hear back too lol

Oh dang, well I hope the hospital job works out for you ! I know hospital field placements are like always top choice so if you can work that out from now, that would be great for you!

I'm sure you will get into your other schools ! But if it turns out that you take a year off, I personally think that's the best thing to do for anyone! I took a year off between undergrad and applying for my master's and I loved it, it gave me time to work in the field and make sure this is what I really wanted to do, I was able to save up to afford school lol and it gave me a break that I desperately needed. So if you take a year off , enjoy it but again I'm sure you will get into one of your 3 other schools, you got this !

Maybe you can talk with BC and see if they will let your current job be your field placement! If your current job is related to what you would want to do as field placement, maybe they will allow it. And I am going to email them as well about the financial aid package so I'll do the same and keep you updated. Because I need to know how much more jobs I need to get to pay that tuition lol

Nope, nothing on my end so far. I don't like the waiting game lol and do you know when BC would send out financial aid packages because I didn't get anything with the acceptance letter

Hey everyone! First, congratulations to everyone who has heard back good news from their applications, you are all going to make amazing social workers! I need some advice to thosewho have been accepted into multiple schools so far. I was recently accepted into BC (which is my top choice) and I am still waiting to hear back from BU,( I only applied to those 2 schools lol) but I should hear back from BU any minute now but I am very impatient and want to commit to BC already lol my question is should I pay my deposit for my top choice or wait and see if I get accepted to BU, because I would hate to pay my deposit and then BU offers me a full ride scholarship or something (extremely unlikely but a girl could dream?) what do you guys think ? Thanks ! P.S. BC needs a response by February 27.

Well then we'll most definitely be taking some of the same classes if you officially decide on BC. My mind is kind of already made up on going to BC even without hearing from BU, I just need to get my deposit money together lol

I would probably just go for the whole day, because its a 2.5 hour drive from CT to the school, so by the time I drive back down I'll be looking to leave work anyways lol

I hear you, we are in the same exact boat! I work 9-5 as well so I'm going to have to figure that out, because I haven't visited BC before, I went to the information session for BU and did the tour but I didn't get the chance to do that for BC and I really want to check it out

Yeah I looked at some apartments in the city and they are very pricy lol but that's good that you are right there, won't be too much of a hassle. I actually applied to be a RA at BC , (they allowed me to go through the process before knowing if I'm admitted) so if everything works out I will do that, and same for BU so I don't have to pay rent for at least the first year, but as always I wait for the emails lol

I'm praying that we do so I can stop the stress eating lol but I would be moving from CT which isn't too far, its about a 2.5 hour drive but I've only ever lived in CT so this will be a big transition for me lol Do you live in the Boston area ?

I'm sure they will! I have been looking into the certificates as well and neuroscience was one that piqued my interest but I'm leaning more towards school social work or child welfare. Fingers crossed for good news for both of us ! For everyone actually ! this is so stressful lol

No, I didn't do advanced standing for either school. BC did say on or around Feb 15 but I didn't know about BU, thanks. I have been refreshing my emails all week lol which concentration are you going into? I am doing children, youth, and families , clinical track

Hi everyone! New to this forum but super happy that I found it, I have been stressing out about decision letters! I applied to BU and BC (only those 2) before the January 15 deadline and I am anxiously waiting to hear back from both ! Has anyone else heard back yet?!
