Hello! Yes, I’ve already heard back from U of A about funding. About a week or two ago, more or less. Are you attending the virtual open house, too?

100% understood. I'm super grateful for how schools have accommodated us and expressed their concern. I definitely see that they care about their students and their well-being. It's an unfortunate circumstance, but I appreciate how they've been working with their students and prospective students. Stay safe!

Other schools are doing that. I hope IU does, too. It feels like we're making this decision blindly, and I'm sure they recognize that. Thankfully, we have some time.

I called Ms. Elkins today and she got back to me afterwards. Do you think they'd do another one? I assume no school will extend our April 15 deadline, too. I was really hoping to go visit, but I understand the circumstances.

IU has cancelled their Open House/reception. If any of you have purchased airline tickets to visit your schools, they may not do refunds but they will give you a voucher so you can use it by a certain time. Stay safe, y'all!

I'm waiting until I hear about funding from all schools before I make that decision, so I hope we hear soon. I'm also visiting the schools I'm seriously considering so I can get a feel for the program, facilities, and faculty. I'm hoping to make a decision well before April 15, but we will have to wait and see.

Haven't heard about funding from U of A either. Maybe closer to the end of the month?

Hello! I haven’t heard from IU either. I believe someone said that their focus was on finding a new faculty member. I don’t know if that’s the reason, but it could be. Not sure if anyone else has heard from them.

Hello hello! If you applied to Texas Tech, I believe they are still conducting interviews till mid March. Hope everyone is receiving communication from their programs.

Hi, y'all. This might be a dumb question, but I'm genuinely curious. Do you think it would be acceptable for me to do my video conference interview in my scrubs because it's right after I get out of work? Would this be inappropriate? Or should I change as fast as I can?
