I got $6,600 in work study and the test loans. I’m also out of state so my cost of attendance is $55000. I understand about the competitive offer, but UW is my top choice and I was sort of hoping they’d be a lot more flexible with financial aid awards (especially for out of state). Another school just offered me in-state tuition, but it’s not as high ranked as UW. I agree that this isn’t business school, but sometimes you have to think outside of the box.
Just got my financial aid award! Do you guys think I could get a higher award amount if I tell them I’ve gotten a competitive offer from another school?
I applied to university of Georgia (I live in Florida and needed safety schools) and they’ve sent me like three acceptance letters and offered me an in state tuition waiver. I really want to hear back from UW because it would be sooo expensive for me to go there without financial aid. Let me know if you hear anything back from them.
What’s your opinion on microstudios? I don’t mind paying a higher rent ($1000) if it means I get to live alone. I am currently in college and living with a roommate after this doesn’t sound all that appealing to me anymore. I don’t mind having a smaller space as I plan on being outdoors most of the time.
Hi! I’m a fourth year undergrad student from Florida and I applied to UW Seattle 2 year MSW in December. I haven’t received an email from them yet, but I was wondering if anyone who was accepted would feel comfortable sharing their stats? Mine are
