Saw it on the results page. Searched 'Juilliard' and folks reported being rejected from J's playwriting program.

I'm treating it similarly -- also, checked the results page and some folks are reporting an outright rejection email from Juilliard. So, I'm taking this as a win, today! Okay! Great, good to know. I'm hoping that I'm not hearing back a time/date estimate because NY has been shut down, but alas. ughh! I came into this thinking that I was better than this freak out, lol. I feel as though my teeth have been on edge for months awaiting results. Alas.

Huh, that's really interesting! Yeah - I emailed Edward Baker a follow up thank you & have reached out to Zach Karp pretty recently (Zach is my admissions officer--I'm assuming Jee was yours..?) We'll seeee but if you've already been accepted and I haven't heard a word, I'm not getting my hopes up

Ooof, congrats, friend! Hope you get that sorted out (no real advice except to echo @PlayWitch -- I dunno if you got in anywhere else with funding, but I've heard it works to tell a program if other places are giving you more funding so that they feel the pressure to make an offer... But that's pretty much hearsay from me) I'm wondering if anyone has heard a peep from Pace's Actor Studio MFA playwriting program? Had an interview there at the end of January and nothing since. I know that NY has been hit super hard by COVID, but am curious as I emailed a week or two ago asking when we should hear and got radio silence. Columbia & NYU have been prompt, but I'm not actually certain when Pace usually lets folks know. If anyone knows anything, I would love to be enlightened

Just received a notification from Columbia that I've been waitlisted (!! actually extremely excited about this news) and received an (official) rejection email from BU after a lovely email from Kate on Friday. Fingers crossed!! And, congrats @shortymcshortz Hope we get to be in the same cohort. Hope everyone is staying physically and mentally healthy this week, and for the coming weeks... We'll get through this and heck, I think we'll make even better art because of it. Love to y'all. Wild times. Wild, wild times.

Hello, friend! I think we must have interviewed one right after the other

Does anyone know what the process for the UCLA program is? Eg, interviews or nah...? I keep (re)realizing that I applied there, lol. It's been silent from their corner, at least for me. Had a grand old time interviewing with DHH and another member of faculty at Columbia today! They were so lovely. Looking forward to hearing within the week... Whew. It really is go time for all of these places. Ah! It's enough to drive ya mad.
