EPS results postponed till Mid April

Did your degree have modules related to Southern Europe/European studies in general?

Yes it was. By internship, I also meant some internship or projects related to Europe. This doesn't necessarily have to be in Europe itself, many people intern in regional delegations of EU missions and embassies of member countries in their home nations.

To add, I have a backlog in subject.

From what I have analysed, I think I was rejected for the scholarship because of the following reasons. 1. My undergrad and postgrad degrees do not have any modules covering Russia and Eastern Europe. 2. I haven't learnt any Russian (Was hoping that I could learn in the programme itself, haha) 3. Lastly, I do not have internship or summer school experiences related to Russia or Eastern Europe. I do believe that my motivation letter and CV were good enough.

They told me via mail earlier this month that, the admissions committee will send out results between now and end of May. Interesting to note that, European unis are working out admissions as per schedule despite the fact that Europe is among hardest hit continents. No need to worry, they'll send out results, I hope all of you have prepared backup options as well.

By the way, does anyone know of alternative scholarships to the Mundus ones offered for Erasmus programmes?

Congratulations! I'm currently awaiting results for EPS and IMSISS. I had the conditional offer for IMCEERES, but being from Asia, the currency deficit just adds too much to the costs

My scholarship application was rejected as well. Did anyone get through?

I wasn't. The admissions committee says that due to the covid outbreak, the admissions are held up. The office will alert students between now and end of May.

I had a word with the IMCEERES course co-ordinator, she said that there was a mistake on the website and the preliminary results would be sent only by early April

Anyone else who applied for MIA and is awaiting results?

If you look on the website beneath the chronological table, it is mentioned that "All candidates will be notified of the decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee by email only in early March". Hence, the confusion. ?‍♀️
