  1. Does anyone know how you find out the admissions decision for the two year online MSW at Laurier? I have not received an email with a rejection (at least not yet).
  2. Do you happen to know how to tell if the deposit has been accepted? Mine is showing it as "Credit Balance" with the $500 in green compared to it being red before. Does yours look like this?
  3. Hello, I did the same thing. I printed the forms, signed them and then scanned them and sent them to Angela through email. I have not received a response yet but I am assuming she is probably very busy at the moment.
  4. Hello everyone, it's exciting to hear about others who have been accepted to the two year MSW program at UoT! I am hoping for good news for the others who have not heard back yet! Don't lose out hope! I have applied to both UoT and Laurier (part-time online, non-bsw) and have accepted my offer for UoT. I have not heard back from Laurier yet, but I have decided that the UoT program will be a better fit for me! So if I do get accepted to the Laurier program, I will be declining! I am looking forward to connecting with future students come September ?
  5. I've heard great things about the Lakehead HBSW program! I think I am leaning towards UoT as well!
  6. Aww hang in there! Is the Windsor program the one on weekends? Being accepted into an MSW program is already a huge achievement Maybe consider reaching out to Angela in regards to if all the acceptances have been released for UoT. Also, I'm still waiting to hear back from the two year program at Laurier as well.
  7. Ahhh! Yes for sure! I've been refreshing throughout the day so I most definitely will be posting in here when it does!!! Did you apply elsewhere? I am currently still waiting on the Laurier part-time online program.
  8. Yeah I am wondering the same as I have seen in previous posts that some people have not noticed their status changing yet! Mine did change yesterday.
  9. Yeah, I am assuming it means accepted! I know for me, I'm still so in shock that I was scared to get excited until I had confirmation that I was for sure accepted! I am still waiting on my SGS status to change, so I think once that happens that's when I'll really be able to calm my nerves hahahaha!
  10. Oh my gosh!!!! I got invited too!!! I'm freaking!!!!
  11. Hello! I haven't heard anything back as well, and I have read on the website that it says May! I wish we didn't have to wait so long! I have heard really good things about the program, and if I do not get accepted into any MSW program, I think I would still be happy with this option.
  12. Oh that’s great! I haven’t seen many Canadians talk about the Yeshiva program so it’s nice to hear someone else is also applying! I’ve heard really great things from the research I’ve done. I’ve also been in contact with the admissions coordinators and have had a few conversations with them over the phone. They also connected me with a current student in the program who is also taking it from Canada. She highly recommended it and said she’s really enjoying it. I also know that it is an accredited program in Canada, so registering with the college shouldn’t be an issue (at least I know for Ontario) although you may need to check with the social work regulating body in your province if you are not from here. The only drawback I would say is the price, as the program is expensive.
  13. Hi everyone, I have been creeping these forums for awhile and now in the process of waiting on my applications. I've applied to the two year MSW programs at UoT and Laurier (part-time online) and currently in the process of completing my application for the online MSW program at Yeshiva University in NYC. The wait has honestly been very hard but knowing others are in the same boat has been reassuring. Did anyone else apply to any post-degree BSW programs? I have also applied to Dalhousie's post-degree online BSW.
