  1. Denial. Sorry meant to reply to that.
  2. And it looks like the dates did mean something, specifically that you moved forward to a later round of selections. Waitlist and selected people got updates on 4/16 or 4/17.
  3. Also not selected. Alas, congrats to those who did get it or were waitlisted!
  4. I am affiliated with a national lab and what we do definitely isn't classified but we do require VPNs to access a lot of our systems/databases. The databases/systems are often plagued with bugs too so honestly either access issue is probable to me.
  5. Maybe it's a VPN service or some other issue that is preventing them from accessing their systems remotely? I think that's conceivable and something that the individual NDSEG offices wouldn't be able to control. Given that it's the DoD, I would imagine they need a lot of special permissions to work from home, but I'm not a computer person with no real government experience so that's purely my speculation.
  6. I'm surprised he hasn't responded yet. Rob responded in a couple minutes to me yesterday. Maybe that means he's busy, with dare I say, releasing the results. One can hope.
  7. Probably not until tomorrow according to NDSEG people. IT issues.
  8. I think the initial panel screen only went until 1/31 according to the panel tab on the NDSEG website so I'm not sure why people would get an update in late February if they weren't considered. Additionally the panel started reviewing applications after 12/15 so it doesn't make sense for people who have updates at the beginning of December (or Oct) unless there was something missing from their application or if they really did exclude people who didn't follow their instructions to a T (uploading a word document instead of PDF or with the wrong file name). Also, in reference to the person talking about being excluded early from BAAs not having funding - my understanding from everything I have read and from a friend who also applied who asked the PMO several questions when applying, you aren't applying to the BAA, they just use that to make sure you are doing something of interest to them. so the pot of money for the BAA and NDSEG isn't the same. My guess is the agencies get even split of the money based on the number of applicants that apply to each branch.
  9. ARO Biosciences, last update 4/7
  10. I don't know - I do know someone who once got an NSF HM and ended up receiving an award because they made a mistake, so they said.
  11. I didn't apply to NSF so I have no idea what the process is - did they already have to accept or decline the award?
  12. At least we now know the emails might not come all at once. And that it will be via email and not portal (I specifically asked that and he said email in his response).
  13. Asked him for a projected time and this was the response: Thanks for following up with those questions. We do not have a projected time today for the decisions to be released, and it could take as much as 24 hours for all of the email notifications to be processed. Many applicants could receive their notifications tomorrow. so looks like Rob is not a bot. Also would post a screenshot but then I'd have to go on to my computer because a screenshot on my phone has size limitations and it's a whole thing.
  14. Bob Ross does sound like an alias..
  15. 'plot twist: Rob is a young fellow that is actually one of your previous dates
  16. I just responded to get more info so we shall see. he's going to be muttering jfc before its even 10am
  17. I would like this but ran out of reactions.
  18. Although I'm sensing some non-commitment with his verbiage "anticipates." Jfc
  19. It's the final countdown, y'all. Also Rob is the real MVP for responding so quickly.
  20. I'll take one for the team and report back.
  21. Also, I forgot that this happened - I made an account two years ago but didn't actually apply and just found the email that they sent notifying me of the "award status." It was administered by STI-Tec but that email came on April 13 at 4:39am PST. So it was pretty late that year. Also, not that this really matters but there might be multiple PMOs because I've had emails from Sysplus signed by a Thomas P. Martinson and Kenneth Davis in addition to Rob Ross. I think they were either late putting the application online or I was antzy then so I emailed them back in August and Kenneth's signature says PMO. Or their jobs have changed.
  22. Alright who's volunteering to email & call Rob?
  23. Maybe it WILL be at 11 like NSF
