  1. I received admission to UofT's MPH in Health Promotion yesterday! Deadline to accept the offer is on June 8th. Good luck to everyone! For those of you have accepted UofT's offer for Health Promo, are you interested in having an FB group? I know there's one for Epidemiology.
  2. I agree! We should at least be informed if we have been waitlisted but I am assuming UofT follows a "multiple rounds of offers" approach rather than waitlists ? Best of luck to you too and hope we hear good news!
  3. Haha I know right! I e-mailed them last week and they said "The admissions process is still underway".
  4. I'm sorry to hear that! I hope you hear good news from Alberta Also, do you mind sharing when you heard back from UofT Health Promo?
  5. Did anyone else not hear back yet from UofT Health Promotion in the second round of acceptances this week?
  6. In the same boat! I still haven’t heard anything from UofT :(
  7. Hey! Can you please add me to the group? Thanks :)
  8. I still haven't heard back from UofT for their MPH in Health Promotion and I am low-key starting to panic a little. Am I the only one who hasn't heard back yet? I know a couple of people on this forum received responses early last week!
  9. What has everyone heard about McMaster's MPH? Non-thesis. Could really use some insight about the program!
  10. Can someone please give me some insight about McGill's MScPH, UofT's MPH (Health Promo), McMaster MPH and Queen's MPH? I am having a very hard time making a decision. I am leaning towards McGill but I may be biased because I did my bachelor's there.
  11. Hi everyone! I am trying to gain some insight about the Master of Public Health programs in Canada. Specifically - McGill, University of Toronto (Health Promotion), Queen's and McMaster. Note: I have not decided yet which field of public health I would want to specialize in but I do know that I would like some training Epidemiology in whichever program I choose. A diverse program offering training all aspects of public health would be ideal. 1) Which program is most reputable? And why? 2) What are the strengths and weaknesses of these programs? 3) Will joining UofT's Health Promotion MPH restrict me from seeking a placement in/working in Epidemiology? Or is the training diverse in all of these programs? I am really confused about which program to choose! I like McGill's program but I feel I am a little biased as I did my undergrad and am comfortable there. I've heard mixed reviews about McGill's MPH program, otherwise. I would appreciate any advice or any info you have on these programs that you all can share here. I'm sure many of us could benefit from this!
