Same here. Would rather not put it off a year. The email did make it feel a little like we are second class citizens at a first class price tag the way it said classroom space is at a premium.
Did your department aid (scholarship) match what was in your acceptance letter? Mine is higher, I had asked them to reconsider scholarship and haven’t heard back yet but the number was definitely larger.
I am...heavily leaning towards BC, I think overall their school and program has a stronger reputation which should help in the long run. Waiting to hear back on $$ because the cost difference is notable, although they’ve been very responsive. I’d say I’m 99.9% BC.
Congrats on being accepted as well and on the tuition remission! Does anyone know if BC has been willing to discuss the amount of remission, or is it a take it or leave it scenario? I got twice as much from Simmons, my preference is BC...but I don’t want to graduate with a mountain of debt either...
