Mine this year says: "I regret to inform you that, although your application was considered meritorious, it was not funded due to budgetary constraints. If additional funds become available, your application could be considered for an award at a later date." Last year mine said: "Your application did not score highly enough to be funded, and you will not be offered an award." So I think I'm waitlisted for this year, but was flat out rejected last year.

They don't have to do anything. It's NSERC, they do what they want, release it when they want

Are people getting their rankings too, or just the notifications of results? We got rankings last year, but I don't see any this year. Also, congrats to everyone who won

Last year we got our results on a more rolling basis, much like how the extranet emails have been rolling out. However, I think it was all within the same day, so hopefully it's a than these initial emails

I also just got my log in credentials, and last name starts with a K I feel it's such a tease getting so many Extranet emails without getting our the results

I've had it where I won/accepted OGS, then won NSERC (masters) a few weeks later. I had to fill out a new form and submit it to the University saying I was rejecting OGS. If there's paper work, read what they say. You might be able to accept it now, and reject it later.

Last year they sent two emails giving you the link and password to your results. I imagine they'll do something similar this year.

Mine was being weird. I had to the side menu, click "send to", and download a copy to see my feedback

They are providing rankings and acceptance/rejections

I don't know for sure, but I think YOU are given the award and then get to decide which institution to take it to.

It is possible only awardees get the email... but last week we over-analyzed what "Mid-April" meant, so we might be looking too deep into this
