yasssss congrats!! it would be sick if we were all cohort buddies. 
march 25 feels like SO SOON for a decision, and if i'm going to visit pittsburgh i need to do it like, yesterday because there is a big conference in my city this month that makes traveling pretty hellish. hopefully some more decisions roll out in the next week or so... CMU thus far seems like the most natural mesh with my interests, and R&M seemed genuinely invested, but it's hard to tell when it's ur only offer ahhhh!!!! 

I was having the most horrible day and then found out I got waitlisted at Carnegie Mellon. The sigh of relief I breathed... whew. Unreal. Hoping I'll get in and see @tomlette and @Mel Rose in class soon? Hehe :-) 

Just got my first decision of the season...: also in at Carnegie Mellon for Dramatic Writing with a financial fellowship (which I still have to look over)!  Excited and relieved to have a yes! Still going to wait on a few more results but nice to know that grad school is happening! Fingers crossed for more good news soon for everybody here.

Just got my first decision of the season...: also in at Carnegie Mellon for Dramatic Writing with a financial fellowship (which I still have to look over)!  Excited and relieved to have a yes! Still going to wait on a few more results but nice to know that grad school is happening! Fingers crossed for more good news soon for everybody here.

just got a yes from CMU (on my birthday no less) ... !!!
btw, my friend at iowa says dept. is still going through applications as well, so hold tight!

Just wanted to let everyone know that here at Hunter, Christine is still deep in application reading, so interview requests haven’t gone out yet!

I interviewed with NYU last year as well. I think it can vary greatly based on who you are interviewing with, but it is very much a split of them interviewing you AND you interviewing them, so don't be afraid to ask questions! I don't know how heavily the interviews are actually weighted in terms of admission, as some of the faculty interviewers have mentioned they are not on the admission committee, but nonetheless, I had great conversation last year and learned a lot about the program. It feels very much about trying to see if the program is a match for what you are hoping to get out of grad school, and making sure those goals are aligned. Hope this helps!

Had my interview with Carnegie Mellon and also got the NYU interview request this week  
@seasickmermaid I also got the Yale rejection with the same wording so I'm assuming it's generic? Weird wording.

Got accepted to The New School this morning and also just got a rejection status update from Yale. I was totally expecting to be rejected from Yale because my application for them was a mess, but I'm curious because in the letter they said they encourage me to apply again after gaining more professional experience. Just wondering if they tell that to everyone they don't accept or if it genuinely means I need more professional experience. Would love to know if anyone else got that update from Yale today!

Hey! Yeah, it looks like they're really behind this year. I know they just started discussing applications last weekend, meanwhile I found out I was accepted a year ago this week. I'll try to find out next week what's up!

I got an interview with Carnegie Mellon again! Round two here we go! ?

Hi all, previous poster, back again this year. I all of a sudden tonight began to feel nervous ? so thought I'd post and say hello! Best of luck to everyone for this round!

Ahhh it feels like I just sent out my applications...is the timeline usually so quick? I wasn't expecting to hear back until the end of February at the earliest. 
Also congrats to everyone who got their apps in this cycle! First time I'm doing this and it was such an exhausting process. We all deserve a pat on the back just for doing the damn thing.
