I had 3 questions and all three were very specific to the topic I have been shortlisted in -- kind of like little essay questions. I didn't get any competency or motivation question. Very strange. I really hope that we'll hear back fast enough... The wait is the worst! I'll let you know when I get an answer ?

Hi Yimbo! That's very exciting, congrats on being preselected. I also received a message for a HireVue interview (NATO HQ). Don't really know what to expect but from what I read previously on this forum and what I've heard from people who've been there before, the questions are pretty basic and straightforward. I'd recommend to also prepare a few STAR-type answers for competency-based questions just in case. Please let me know how it was after you record yourself! Hi! I don't think the updates mean anything, the first one is normally following the "pre-scanning" and the second one probably indicates that your application was opened/read. If you are shortlisted it will be indicated on your page!

I didn't for the division I applied to no. As for your application that hasn't been updated yet I guess they just haven''t processed them yet? As a Belgian citizen I can confirm that 1070euros a month in Brussels in definitely doable if you live in a shared-flat and are not a big spender ?

I'm not sure, you should check SHAPE internships but I think they were published around February. And I think everything is through taleo but then again I might be wrong ? For the internships in Brussels HQ it's €1070/month but I don't know for other bodies

Hi! They publish them once a year around March/April (on nato.taleo.net) ! There are internships located in Brussels at the main HQ but they also have internships in their military bodies.

I applied last year to three positions and basically just after the deadline they have the prescreening - automatic rejection emails if you don't fill all the criteria. After that they have the pre-selection, from what I understand sometimes they ask for an interview but most often they don't. According to their timeline I guess we should be hearing back soon for pre-selections! As long as you can still withdraw it's a good sign ?

Hiyaa, I was also wondering if there will be a discussion for 2021! No news for me atm except that it was last updated on the 7th of May! I only applied to one position this year though (Emerging Security Challenges) so it may be different for other divisions! What about you?
