  1. I know this is a late response, but I've been up all night trying to figure this out and it seems a little unclear. Below I have attached links to some resources. Speaking from experience as a speech aide in a school setting, most of our SLPs have been contracted (we are split 50/50 with SLPs and speech teachers) and contracted SLPs dont have to have a credential. So that might be a work around. I am working on getting a speech teaching waiver, so I am going to ask my credential specialist if she knows about this and will update if I can.
