Hi everyone! I applied to UofT's MSW-ITR program last year and was gutted when I was not accepted into the program following a round of interviews. I live and work in the Yukon Territory and felt that the knowledge gained from that particular program would be extremely transferrable to social work practice in my community.
This year I decided, yet again, to only apply to one program - U of Calgary's online Clinical MSW stream. I'm doubting my decision now and wondering if I should have applied to more than one school...
Has anyone else on this thread previously been accepted to a U of C MSW program? I finished my BSW with an 86% average, have approximately 6300 hours of paid work experience (Probation officer, youth treatment recovery worker, sexual assault response team worker, child and youth advocacy caseworker), and have some research experience through a research award during my undergrad degree. Any insight on what U of C is looking for when considering prospective applicants?
