  3. Hi guys! Thanks for checking out! I am planning to apply for Stat PhD this fall. But with most of my research experience lies on Econ, I am a bit uncertain on which school I should apply to. Would be great if you can help me out! Undergrad Institution: European National Flagship U Major(s): Stat and operations research GPA: 3.9 (Top 2%) Type of Student: International non-white male Undergrad Math (All A/A+): Intro to Analysis & Analysis, Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, Prob. Theory(no measure), Non-linear Optimization, Stochastic processes, Combinatorics Undergrad Statistics(All A/A+): Simulation, Statistics, Advanced Statistics(Multivariate), Time Series, Regression I, II, III Grad Institution: Overall Top 10 US Institute(Not extremely strong in Stat) Major(s): Econ GPA: 4.0/4.0 Grad Math: Graduate Probability Grad Statistics under Econ: Empirical Processes, Non-parametrics Grad Statistics under Stat: Research-level Theory of Inference GRE General Test: Q:155 V: 168 W: 3.5 Applying to: Statistics/OR PhD Research Experience: Two term paper in the area of casual inference, One on-going paper co-authored paper on high dimensional stat Potential Letters of Recommendation(?): (a) Graduate Probability Professor (b) Co-author (Junior) (c) Economics professor? I also have extremely limited information on the admission process of Stat, so also not sure which kind of LoR should I use.
