Arguably, Al-Ghazali ruined the Islamic scientific thought which was a lot more progressive for the times than what followed in the Western world. Then again, the world is full of contradictions and complexities and I do love Ghazali for him mainstreaming of Sufism so we have that middle ground.

@JConan @Jimmy54 SSP is not the only one. HGSE is consolidating several of their programs with addition of 'concentrations' as a flexibility mechanism for those who want to pursue individualized curriculum. This will be the last SSP cohort. 2021-onwards, SSP will no longer be a program option.
