  1. Thank you @Rushd for this information. Looks like they are revamping their entire program to make it more flexible, which is good. And I am not sure if applying to SSP will have any negative impact as a part time student because it will welcome flexible bound students. Then again, it's only my opinion. Looks like decision will come tomorrow. Need to sleep early tonight so I won't think about it too much.
  2. I could understand sending out today as one more day would not make a difference. Maybe we should not expect at all and be surprised if decisions come out today.
  3. I totally agree. On July 31st at this time of day...than saying by Aug 1st...that could be today but not really.
  4. Wow so many TIE and SSP applicants. I didn't know they were this popular. Good luck to all. I will be a true happy camper when TGIF finally comes.
  5. Awesome. I wonder what kind of impact it will have on SSP since I've heard it will go away. I've applied part time so I hope we have a great chance getting admitted. Good luck on your GRE tomorrow. Penn is awesome, too. Has Penn opened up applications this summer and changed to online like HGSE?
  6. Are you taking GRE for HGSE or other grad school? When I got an email from them below, they've said by August 1st. So I believe it will be tomorrow for admit/reject. I will be psyched and very nervous when I see that email. What an exciting journey to come to this point. We should all be very proud. Dear Jimmy Thank you for your email. All applicants will receive their admissions decision by August 1st. Applicants will be notified via email when their admission decision is available. Best, HGSE Admissions
  7. One more day till decision day! This waiting is painful and hope today goes really fast. Flingers crossed!
  8. If they do announce today, I assume it will be in the evening and I doubt it makes a difference if they announce today or Friday. So might as well let the news out today! As for current spots, I think they are trying to fill in the possible international student seats which some may not like the online because it will be night time for some of them. The whole experience of being at Cambridge for intl students will be weighted much heavily and may apply again next year. Also, even if they have to fill 200 seats, they probably have to take a chance to admit 250 or 300 for yield and some may not to commit due to low financial aid and other reasons.
  9. I think we should all record our admit/reject video reaction like the undergrads do and share here! I love seeing the video on HGSE celebrating on their graduation and hope to be part of it as well someday. This is my most ultimate Dream school (in addition to my first grad degree years ago) and a turning point in my career/life if I get in. I did not tell anyone including my family on applying to Harvard but hope to announce and celebrate very loudly. If I don't, I will still be proud on applying and be hopeful on the next 2nd try. Thanks MBEd and Jleighski123 for reading my post and giving support! We all should be proud and can't wait till Friday. I am sure we are all checking our portals daily like I am! LOL!
  10. We will all find out this Friday! That's 3 more days to go. Thank you all for sharing and glad I was able to find your forum. Excited, nervous and somewhat scared. But we should all be proud that we've submitted the application despite the late notice. I've just found out I've been tracking and learning about HGSE since 2011! Shows this was a once in a lifetime chance. But I think they will continue to offer online degrees even after this year as a hybrid program to accommodate the working educators. Hope we can all share the good/bad news this Friday.
