Are you looking for a house or an apartment? Houses are typically 700-1200 per month, depending on how close to campus the house is. The apartments around campus can be a little more pricey. The ones along grand river are very expensive, especially for a studio or 1 bed 1 bath are about 1100-1200 per month. As you get further away, prices start to drop some more, so if you have a car I'd recommend doing that.
Hi guys! I'll be applying to masters programs waiving their GRE requirements, for this cycle at least. I'm looking to go into the bio/biotech field, so the intended program is pretty variable, therefore I'm mostly focusing on school location for my choices. My list of schools so far, ranked in terms of where I want to go the most: Northeastern University - Biotechnology Boston University - Biology and Biomedical Engineering Tufts University - Biology and Chemistry/Biotechnology New York University - General Biology The City College of New York - Biotechnology
So I've been researching schools I would like to apply to this year and am wondering if I am competitive enough to be considered a good applicant. Obviously, just listing stats is a crap shoot to whether or not I will be accepted, but I just want to know which schools are "safeties" (is any school really safe?), matches, and reaches. Undergrad: Top 100 nationally, #101 global (according to US news rankings) Major: Human Biology cGPA (at time of applying): 3.71/4.0 Major GPA: 3.77/4.0 GRE: Not taking it, only looking into programs who are waiving their GRE requirem
