The increase in micro applicants is making me nervous! I’m hoping that my experience working with covid since Feb will make me stand out a little bit. But everyone is doing covid work....so maybe it isn’t even that memorable. ahhhh

I am very lucky to work at an amazing university and have been able to forge a lot of relationships so I'm having a friend who got their PhD in english to look over my SOP and also having someone who is in charge of admissions for the subject I'm interested. I'm not applying here so it's not a conflict, but it's nice to have someone who knows these processes a little bit go over it.
