Anyone else get the email from UChicago talking about their certificate programs and think that they had an interview? Just me? Lol

I would recommend looking through the results page to view specifics for what Q score typically helps garner positive admissions results. With that being said, I have a 161 Q and have been told that it can be seen as a hinderance to an application, especially at some of the top schools. Now, if you're looking to do APD or qual american work that score matters significantly less, but I would recommend taking it until you cross the 160 threshold. Gregmat+ is a great resource for a low price and brought me up 5 points in the Q section in 2 months while working full time. The GRE can be tough, but a good score makes it much easier to get admitted

This is gonna be a really dumb question, but I just want to make sure I am not missing anything. When you mention checking the portals, is it just the same portal that we originally applied through or is there another portal where we wait for decisions?

Hi everyone, I wanted to get some advice. I recently got a paper published as a co-author but the journal my PI submitted to is not great (0.1 impact factor). I’m wondering if this is even worth updating my CV and sending back out to schools, or if I should leave it as-is?

Ah it’s okay, I’m sure many more are on their way. I only need to get into 1 after all haha. I was also shocked that it came so early.

First rejection, automated email from Emory saying that I did not get in, IR.

That website is great. I didn't realize how many schools began realizing in January; I was expecting the bulk to come in February and March.
