As a disclaimer, I'm familiar with Economics grad programs, but not finance. The cultures and expectations are very similar afaik. For econ, your first score would be dominant to the second, as your verbal scores are both sufficient and your first quant score is somewhat of a positive signal, while the second is merely sufficient.
You need MINIMUM 165 quant, 167 is acceptable at most programs. One course in Real Analysis and one course in Linear Algebra with A or A+ in both is just about necessary for admission to most Econ PhD programs. Econ PhD programs are extremely math intensive, far beyond undergraduate Econ coursework, so be warned. You should love math if you want to to a PhD or MA/MS in Econ.
Hello,
I am looking for information on program rankings and admitted applicant profiles for computational neuroscience programs. These programs are much more math heavy than traditional neuroscience so I thought you folk might have some info.
GRE Scores?
Math/Physics GRE beneficial?
Weighting of undergrad/grad math coursework?
Is neuro coursework needed, or is neuro research sufficient?
What does it take to get into MIT? UW Seattle? Caltech? etc...
